Heading Accenture, Inc. (Philippines) with the spirit of development and sustainability, Mr. Manolito “Lito” Tayag is the company Country Managing Director (CMD) who is a leader in the technology industry. Providing technology, operations, digital, and consulting services for the organization's global and local clients is Accenture's growth mantra. On the other hand, Tayag balances work with giving back to the community; he is Accenture's Corporate Citizenship lead for ASEAN, which oversees all Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in the region.
Moreover, Tayag is not only a business leader in Accenture, Inc.; he also commits himself to other boards in line with the Information Technology business. Concurrently, he sits as a Chairman of the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) and is a member of the Makati Business Club. His engagements do not stop in the technology industry; Tayag renders commitments for the educational sector as well. This includes being Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mother Rosa Memorial Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Assumption Antipolo. He also sits as a member of several educational Boards of Trustees such as the University of Assumption in San Fernando (Pampanga), Ateneo Professional Schools, Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Philippine Business School for Social Progress, and the Philippine Business for Education. This heavy inclination towards the educational field starts from his humble beginnings as a son of a farmer in Pampanga. The aforementioned Mother Rosa Memorial Foundation, currently owns the Assumpta Technical High School, from where Tayag graduated as valedictorian. Continuing this drive for academic excellence, he entered the Ateneo as a financial aid scholar with a dormitory accommodation in Cervini, taking Management Engineering and finishing this degree in 1982. As a graduate of this institution, Tayag stays true to his worldview of being a holistic man for others. Due to his strong ties to the educational field, Tayag shows how he continuously gives back to this sector. In addition to his position in Accenture, the culmination of his all his experiences helps him become the leader that he is today.
