Meet Wesley Dela Cruz and Jia Salindong-Du, the respective representatives of ME Batch 2018 and 2008! Wesley's favorite subject was OR1, which he found very humbling yet important (something we can all agree with 😅). He says that the class taught him how to be resilient and creative, traits that play a big role in his work today. As an investor, he aims to help startups in several areas, such as product development and user acquisition. Jia was a basketball player for the Lady Eagles B team 🦅. Meeting Remmy Rikken, acknowledged babaylan by many in the Philippine women’s movements, was life changing for me. She introduced me to feminism, through her work and her life, both of which inspired me to help change the balance of power between women and men in our society, and to help raise the status of women in their families and communities.
