To those who, like me, have a pragmatic view on generosity, I encourage you to consider supporting the FAME scholarship fund for the following reasons. First, it goes to whomever deserve it most: individuals who have shown the highest potential and have displayed immense talent and tenacity in their academic endeavors. Second, it produces competent and versatile leaders capable of navigating through the biggest problems faced by organizations in both private and public sectors. And third, it fosters within its recipients a genuine desire to be an instrument of nation-building through the use of their abilities to benefit society. Indeed, the FAME scholarship gives the highest return on investment to benefactors especially when one considers the economic and social value that ME graduates bring about in their respective fields. While it is true that the act of giving is fulfilling in and of itself, perhaps it is all the more rewarding doing so in a way that does the most amount of good to others."
