The spirit of Magis, latin for more is significant to the Atenean. Magis disrupts us and calls us to live in generous excellence, to strive for the more, the greater … not for ourselves but for God. Formed by our alma mater to be men and women for others we aim to practice our professions in the service of others.
Mindful of these values, we present this year’s FAME homecoming theme: More the ME
- We come together, ME alumni here and abroad, to commemorate 52 years of the BSME program which has given us cherished life experiences. We celebrate especially the jubilee of batches 1996, 1981, Oct 1981 and 1971.
- We take time out of our own busyness and connect with our alumni community and draw inspiration from each other’s stories of Magis
- We unite our efforts and resources to build-up more ME graduates, particularly in support of scholars that they may continue their M.E. education
- We remind ourselves we are part of a dynamic network of alumni with whom we can relate and partner in our chosen service
MORE THAN ME: A Global Homecoming will be a virtual 4 hour event on November 6, 2021 from 7pm to 11pm Manila time. All proceeds will be for the benefit of the M.E. Scholarship fund. We hope that all of you will join us in helping make this a momentous event. As of now, there are two ways to help us make this event a success:
- For those who can, please sponsor or help us find corporate sponsors to help us cover the cost of the event.
- 2) Join our Support a Scholar, Win a Car raffle. Tickets are P 1,500 and can be purchased online.
- 2) Donate to the ME scholarship fund. Each jubilarian batch is being asked to donate at least P250,000. We donated close to P500,000 last year to worthy pandemic-related causes.
- Your support and generosity will help us execute a successful event and help uplift the lives of our ME scholars!
