This Valentine’s Day, we’re shining a spotlight on a FAME couple who have not only been together through the highs and lows of life but also grew together in their Ateneo and ME journey. Meet Dino and Jacqui de Jesus, who first crossed paths in 2005, graduated together in 2006, and will be celebrating 13 years of marriage this year.
Though they entered the ME program at the same time in 2002, their paths didn’t truly intersect until the summer after junior year when both joined the OrSem programs committee to welcome incoming freshmen. While there was no "meet-cute," their bond grew organically as they spent that summer together.

Looking back, Dino and Jacqui feel that, while time has passed, they are still the same people from their Ateneo days — just a little older, a few pounds heavier, and now parents to two little ones. Their ME training, however, has equipped them with valuable skills to "adult," manage their household’s busy schedules, and tackle life's surprises head-on. And let’s not forget the countless times they've used MS Excel in their daily lives, proving just how useful those skills truly are!
To fellow alumni, Dino and Jacqui offer this piece of relationship advice: Stay curious about each other. Keep learning, keep asking questions, and never assume you know everything about your partner. After all, love grows through constant discovery.
